I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation in the state of Tennessee,  specializing in individual, couples and family therapy], I maintain a  private practice in [Nashville, Tennessee.

With over 26 years experience as a mental health counselor, a doctorate from Vanderbilt University's Human Development Counseling program, and specializations in Imago Relationship Therapy, trauma treatment through the use of EMDR, and the healing of damaged relationships with food, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients..I am also the current president of the Tennessee Health-Related Board for Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Pastoral Therapists.

In addition to being known as a relationship therapist, I have presented at many conferences and to general audiences on topics such as "Why We Pick Our Partners", Overcoming Compulsive Overeating, EMDR as a Trauma Resolution Tool.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with individuals to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
